Collections Specialist - Part-Time

Remote position, but candidates must live in Arizona Looking to make an impact at an agency that focuses on helping those involved in the criminal justice system? Join SAGE Counseling! We are actively looking for a Part-Time Collections Specialist to assist SAGE's billing department in collections of past due balances. This position will: • Review and monitor past due balances • Outreach clients with past due balances in an attempt to collect the past due balance • Create payment plans to assist clients in coming into compliance with their past due balances • Place clients on financial holds and provide notifications to the clinical team as appropriate • Monitor client balances and make recommendations to discharge based on past due balance amounts, and previous financial hold activities • Support the billing department with other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate for this position is an organized, detail orientated individual who is able to manage multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment, with strong work ethic and a background in office administrative. This is a remote position, and will be provided with equipment to perform job duties remotely. Must reside in Arizona. This is a Part-Time position, Monday through Thursday, 8:30am to 1:30pm. AA in related field preferred. • Proficiency in navigating an Electronic Health Record, and Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, Excel, and Outlook) • Strong Customer service experience • Knowledge of collections and payment processes • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
