Collection Services and Research Librarian
The University of Colorado Law School’s William A. Wise Law Library seeks a Collection Services and Research Librarian. The Collection Services and Research Librarian's primary responsibilities include coordinating the Law Library's collection development functions, teaching in the J.D. curriculum, and providing research assistance as a member of the Reference Team. The Collection Services and Research Librarian is a 12-month faculty position at the Teaching Faculty (non-tenure track) level, reporting directly to the Associate Director of Resource Access and Discovery.JobResponsibilities: • Oversee all aspects of collection development, including strategic planning and budget analysis, to ensure resources and formats align with the diverse research needs of the CU Law Community. • Teach at least one course per year in the J.D. curriculum. • Provide specialized research assistance and instruction to law faculty, law students, law staff, and the general public on reference and in the classroom. • Serve on Law Library, College, and University committees as appointed.• Participate in professional development and relevant professional library organizations. • Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
