You love what you do, now love where you do it. Responsibilities We are looking for a Coding Auditor to join our growing ’ Health Information Management team! In your role, you will be responsible for conducting medical records and coding-related reviews to validate the integrity of coded procedures. You will be a proactive problem solver with exceptional communication skills and a proven ability to follow proper documentation and coding guidelines. From applying coding procedures, to providing education and training to staff, you will ensure alignment with the organization's mission and goals. Qualifications Education & Experience • High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required • 2 years of professional coding experience with comprehensive knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS modifiers required Licenses and Certifications • One of the following is required • CCS - Certified Coding Specialist • CPC - Certified Professional Coder • RHIT - Registered Health Information Technician • RHIA - Registered Health Information Administrator Disclaimers • Pay ranges listed are an estimate and subject to change. • Per the CDPH order, all healthcare workers are required to be vaccinated for COVID-19 or have an approved exemption. • If any bonuses are noted, they are only applicable to external hires meeting criteria.
