Position Summary
As a Coding and Compliance Specialist, you will be primarily responsible for providing data and reports in support of our Coding and Compliance Department. Your key responsibilities will include:
Compiling billing and revenue data from internal systems upon request for the Coding Compliance team to review and analyze
Preparing data summaries for Leadership and other departments, including the Executive leadership team
Running reports, compiling data, and managing standard reporting/tracking logs as established by management
Summarizing and formatting findings and results for leadership
Preparing data findings to executive leadership in presentation format
Researching coding and fee schedule changes
Researching clinician payment data from billing systems

Requirements and Qualifications
Education and Credentials
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
Associate degree from an accredited college preferred
Technical Skills
Minimum intermediate to advanced MS experience, primarily on Excel
Experience with database reporting using industry-standard tools and databases (e.g., Sequel, SAS, Crystal Reports, and Excel)
Experience
At least two years of proven experience in a coding and billing healthcare setting
Certified Coder: 3 years (Required)
Presentation skills: 1 year (Required)
