Position: Cocktail Server- Hotel Indigo El Paso, TX
Job Description:
The Cocktail Server will interact with guests in a positive and professional manner, serve beverages and/or food to the guests in a friendly, courteous and timely manner.
Required Skills and Requisites:
Ā Ability to obtain any government-required license or certificate.
Ā Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ā Basic knowledge of beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic beverages. Liquor certification if required by the state or local government.
Ā Service orientation. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
Ā Working weekends and holidays required.
Ā High School Diploma required.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Ā Greets guests in courteous and friendly manner.
Ā Promotes and documents orders for drinks.
Ā Inputs orders into a register at the point of sale and creates a check for each guest, including those served by other beverage servers.
Ā Processes all payments for beverage purchases and ensures accuracy of said payments in order to balance all monies.
Ā Performs general cleaning tasks to adhere to Health Department regulations.
Ā Must be aware of and adhere to all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.
Ā Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
