Job Description Harborview Medical Center's Centralized Transport Unit is seeking a CNA / Transporter. WORK SCHEDULE 90% FTE (36 hours per week) Day shift POSITION HIGHLIGHTS: Transporting patients and supplies to all areas of the hospital Completes transports in an efficient manner, understanding the importance and impact of patient flow throughout the hospital The successful candidate will also be responsible for the following functions: In collaboration with the Registered Nurse, understands patient care needs and utilizes them during transport if necessary (i.e., oxygen) Utilize technology to respond to transport requests and escalate transport concerns Remains knowledgeable about safe transportation practices Utilizes effective and clear communication skills Qualified candidates: Required: High school diploma or GED Required: Active Nursing Assistant-Certified (CNA) with the State of Washington A minimum of 1-year of CNA experience ABOUT HARBORVIEW MEDICAL CENTER As the region's only Level I Trauma and verified burn center, Harborview Medical Center is a comprehensive healthcare facility owned by King County and operated by UW Medicine. Compensation, Benefits and Position Details Pay Range Minimum: $58,788.00 annual Pay Range Maximum: $84,168.00 annual Other Compensation: $5,000 Sign-on Bonus for eligible new part-time and full-time employees joining UW Medicine Evening: $1.50/hour Night: $2.25/hour Weekend: $1.50/hour Benefits: For information about benefits for this position, visit Shift: Night Shift (United States of America) Temporary or Regular?
