CM/ ACM Operator 3rd Shift

Summary: Responsibilities include, but not limited to maintaining accurate recordkeeping for Culture Media and ACM; establish proper and timely communications with other operators in the process; responsible to blend ingredients by following specific recipes to create desired cheese make ingredients; responsible to ensure all ingredients remain within ingredient specifications; responsible for CIP and sanitation of all associated equipment for Culture Media/ACM; must obtain and maintain a current pasteurizer license from the State of California to perform required batch pasteurization; complete and maintain accurate required documentation associated with the pasteurization process; ensure all equipment safe guards are in place and functioning properly; responsible to follow all safety procedures including LOTO; must perform any other duties as assigned; report any issues to the supervisor on duty; always adheres to all USDA, GMP and Human Safety and Food Safety regulations. Position Responsibilities Work in a safe manner Work well with other employees Perform cheese sampling procedures Know legal and company product specifications Responsible for maintaining a clear, orderly, and neat work area Ensure proper washing of tanks, lines and all equipment associated with CM/ACM. All other assigned duties Job requirements: High school diploma or equivalent or a minimum of (2)-two years of demonstrated work experience in food manufacturing, dairy food manufacturing experience preferred. Advanced quality/food safety training and/or certifications is a plus, but not required. Strong math skills. Strong PC skills, MS Excel and ERP applications, SAP a plus. Strong technical skills, ability to operate and understand equipment controls, touch panels and mechanical operations. Possess lift truck certification or ability to obtain lift truck certification (Powered Industrial Trucks). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated work history.
