CloudOps Engineer - Night Shift Remote
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a highly qualified CloudOps Engineer to support a stable and growing company based in Chantilly, VA on a primarily remote basis. This position is offered on a 12 am - 8 am (night shift) schedule.

Responsibilities of the CloudOps Engineer:
ā¢ Configuration as code for infrastructure, system configuration, and application deployments
ā¢ Design and deploy cloud solutions on AWS
ā¢ Automate operations and maintenance activities
ā¢ Review security scan reports and address findings
ā¢ Apply patches, upgrades, and application deployments
ā¢ Monitor application availability and aid in resolving operational issues
Qualifications of the CloudOps Engineer:
ā¢ 5+ years of experience with system administration of RPM-based Linux distributions (Amazon Linux, RHEL, CentOS, etc.)
ā¢ 3+ years of automation experience with AWS cloud services (VPC, EC2, S3, CloudFormation, etc)
ā¢ Experience with fully automated infrastructure, system, and application deployment with technologies like CloudFormation or Terraform
ā¢ Must have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a relevant field
ā¢ Must be able to obtain a DoD security clearance
Compensation for the CloudOps Engineer:
ā¢ Salary: $105,000-120,000/year *flexible based on experience*
