Cloud Security Intern

Job Description: • Embed within our consultancy team to understand existing processes and improvement opportunities • Collaborate with the Process Improvement Lead to standardize and optimize workflows • Document and normalize best practices across cloud platforms and security domains • Design and implement innovative solutions (including AI chatbots) to facilitate knowledge sharing • Support the broader team in developing scalable, repeatable processes that drive growth Requirements: • Be physically located within the United States during the entire duration of the internship • Have a basic understanding of information technology, networking, operating systems and security • Have a genuine passion for information security • Be motivated and eager to learn new skills • Have demonstrated efforts toward entering cybersecurity, which may include: Obtaining certifications, Attending trainings, Pursuing a formal education, Participating in industry organizations, Contributing to personal or industry projects Benefits: • Group Medical Insurance options: Zero Deductible PPO Plan (GuidePoint pays 90% of the premium for employees and 70% for family plans (spouse/children/family) or High Deductible Health Plan with HSA (GuidePoint pays 100% of the employees premiums and 75% for family plans (spouse/children/family) and GPS will contribute in one lump sum: ($500 per EE annually / $1000 per family annually (includes spouse/children/family options) • Group Dental Insurance: GuidePoint pays 100% of the premium for employees and 75% of family plans • 12 corporate holidays and a Flexible Time Off (FTO) program • Healthy mobile phone and home internet allowance • Eligibility for retirement plan after 2 months at open enrollment • Pet Benefit Option Apply tot his job
