Cloud Expert​/Architect; GCP

Position: Cloud Expert/Architect (with GCP) We are looking for experienced Cloud Expert to join our client in Saudi Arabia (50% remote work from Poland, 50 % from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (business trips to the client's office)) Role Purpose : Owns the end to end cloud strategy execution across Digital products. This role manages and controls how System Integrators design build secure and operate cloud environments for all Digital workloads, ensures high availability disaster recovery full compliance to QIC Cyber cloud security baseline full enforcement of Fin Ops practices and strict adherence to Infra as Code and Dev Ops standards. This role is hands on, strong technical depth is required. Cloud agnostic mindset with deep practical experience on Google Cloud Platform. Duties • Own cloud architecture guardrails patterns and standards across Digital workloads • Govern all SI teams to ensure cloud implementations follow QIC cloud security architecture HA and DR frameworks • Enforce Fin Ops practices including cost controls showback and optimizations across all cloud environments • Ensure Infra as Code is adopted consistently with auditable workflows and change controls • Design and validate HA DR and resiliency patterns with focus on mission critical guest journeys • Collaborate with Cyber on cloud posture hardening compliance and continuous risk assessment • Ensure observability logging and SLO based availability tracking are designed and implemented correctly • Provide hands on support for complex cloud design decisions migrations and platform level issues Key Outcomes Required from This Role • Predictable highly available cloud platforms supporting Digital product launches and operations • Cloud environments fully compliant with QIC Cyber requirements • Fin Ops adoption resulting in measured reduction or control of cloud cost growth • Reduced environment driven incidents affecting end users • SI vendors working under one unified cloud model owned by Digital Requirements • 7 plus years in cloud engineering or cloud platform architecture roles • Hands on deep experience with GCPand familiarity with Azure and or AWS • Strong Infra as Code experience for example Terraform • Proven track record implementing HA and DR at scale • Practical Fin Ops cost governance and optimization experience • Strong Dev Ops mindset CI CD pipeline integration environment governance • Ability to challenge and direct vendor System Integrators based on architecture evidence and standards Offer • Stable employment.
