Cloud Engineer (Virtualization, Juniper, vSRX, Aria Products, YAML)

Systems Engineering Services is seeking a Virtualization Engineer based out of the DMV area. Top 5 Technical Skills: • Cloud Architectures (VMware, Nutanix, AWS, Azure) • VMware Tools (vSphere, NSX, vRNI) • Aria Products (Automation, Orchestrator, Network Insight, Operations Mgr) • Scripting/IaC (Bash, Ansible, Python, Groovy, PowerShell) • Configuration Files (YAML, JSON) • ITIL and CMMC 2.0, and NIST 800-171/800-172 Standards SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITES: • Manage virtualized and compute environments through AVS and VMware solution • Develop infrastructure as code to build and maintain enterprise cloud environments. • Update and maintain git repositories. • Review and maintain CMMC 2.0 and NIST 800-171/800-172 compliance. • Focuses on solving technical problems in a fast-paced environment. • Contributes to the development of strategies, policies, and best practices through participation in team meetings and other direct contributions. • Provides technical guidance and end user training. SKILLS/COMPETENCIES: • Enterprise hybrid cloud architecture experience (VMware, Nutanix, AWS, Azure) • VMware enterprise tools (vSphere, NSX, vRNI) • Aria Suite of products (Automation, Orchestrator, Network Insight, Operations Mgr) • Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, etc.) • Scripting/IaC experience (Bash, Ansible, Python, Groovy, PowerShell etc.) • Knowledge of configuration file types (YAML, JSON) • Good understanding and implementation of ITIL concepts • Good understanding and implementation of CMMC 2.0 and NIST 800-171/800-172 standards • Familiar with DevOps practices • Experience with Juniper Networking, would be a plus EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience • Strong experience implementing CMMC 2.0 and NIST 800-171/800-172 standards • 2+ years of experience and knowledge of DevOps practices • Ability to automate Infrastructure as Code using a variety of technology types (Ansible, Python, PowerShell) • Cross-functional IT expertise (storage, network, and database infrastructure) • Strong experience with both Windows and Linux servers • Experience with knowledge of storage hardware, networking, and software in VMware environments to include NSX • Experience with enterprise hybrid cloud architecture (VMware, Nutanix, AWS, Azure) • Excellent documentation, intercommunication, and interpersonal skills • Demonstrates fast and independent learning capabilities. • Advanced organizational and time management skills Jake Lutman Technical Recruiter Systems Engineering Services Apply tot his job
