Cloud Engineer---REMOTE ONLY - Must pick up equipment in person
• Implementing and maintaining full-stack cloud-native solutions on AWS cloud platform. • Building responsive and user-friendly front-end applications using React, Node.js, and TypeScript. • Leverage native cloud services to design, develop, and maintain cloud-based solutions. • Develop and maintain APIs tailored for cloud environments leveraging AWS API Gateway. • Implement cloud networking concepts, including VPCs, subnets, and security groups. • Adopt cloud security best practices, including IAM. • Implement serverless computing and event-driven architecture using AWS Lambda and AWS DynamoDB for flexible data storage. • Automate cloud infrastructure management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation, AWS SAM, and Terraform. • Script and automate tasks using Python. • Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting for cloud infrastructure using AWS CloudWatch and CloudTrail. • Optimize deployment pipelines for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) using AWS CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, and CodePipeline. • Collaborate with senior team members and business owners to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that improve the customer experience. • Assist in designing scalable and resilient cloud engineering solutions aligned with business needs. • Ensure comprehensive testing, security compliance, and operational stability of solutions. • Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation. • Contribute to research and development initiatives and participate in technology skill enhancement programs. • Experience in Microsoft server and network administration to include end user and vendor support in these areas. • Proficient use of personal computers, ability to analyze data, document procedures, resolve technical issues, prepare reports, provide desktop system support for users having a broad range of technical knowledge and capability. • Operational and administrative experience with Windows Servers and various SAAS environments. Qualifications: • Intermediate proficiency specifically with the AWS Cloud Platform and familiarity with standard software engineering industry best practices. • Strong experience implementing full-stack web applications leveraging React, Node.js, TypeScript on the front-end, and implementing serverless back-end APIs leveraging AWS Lambda and NoSQL databases (eg. AWS DynamoDB). • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Node.js). • Solid understanding of version control (e.g. Git), DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Apply tot his job
