Cloud Engineer III - Next-Gen SIEM
Description: • Design and implement scalable platforms to enable content authoring, testing, validation, and deployment workflows for Next-Gen SIEM • Develop internal tooling and customer-facing features for content development lifecycle, including discoverability, automated testing frameworks, and deployment pipelines • Own well-defined projects and contribute to technical decisions and architectural discussions • Collaborate with Next-Gen SIEM Content team, Advanced Detection Research, and related teams • Integrate technologies such as Go, Kafka, Redis, OpenSearch, PostgreSQL • Optimize and scale systems for stability, performance, and reliability; use monitoring tools like Grafana • Mentor junior engineers and interns; participate in hiring interviews • Champion software engineering best practices: testing, code reviews, documentation, CI/CD • Provide monitoring and operational support for production services; participate in on-call rotation ~every 10-12 weeks • Manage tasks and priorities using Jira Requirements: • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience • Demonstrated experience in software development with a focus on cloud-native architectures and distributed systems • Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Go (preferred), Python, Java, or C# • Experience with content management systems, workflow automation, or developer tooling platforms • Understanding of security concepts, detection methodologies, and rule-based systems • Experience in designing and implementing scalable data processing systems • Track record of successfully delivering technical projects on schedule • Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes • Strong communication skills • Collaborative mindset • Ability to participate in on-call rotation for production services • Experience with Kafka, OpenSearch, Redis, and Spark (listed as bonus) • Experience working in cybersecurity or intelligence fields (bonus) • Familiarity with security detection frameworks like Sigma, YARA (bonus) Benefits: • Remote-friendly and flexible work culture • Market leader in compensation and equity awards • Comprehensive physical and mental wellness programs • Competitive vacation and holidays for recharge • Paid parental and adoption leaves • Professional development opportunities for all employees regardless of level or role • Employee Networks, geographic neighborhood groups, and volunteer opportunities to build connections • Vibrant office culture with world class amenities • Health insurance • 401k • Paid time off Apply tot his job
