Cloud Engineer - 3rd Shift Remote / Telecommute Jobs
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Cloud Engineer - 3rd Shift to support our consulting client on a long term project providing multiple government agencies with their #1 product. Responsibilities:
ā¢ Configuration as code for infrastructure, system configuration, and application deployments
ā¢ Design and deploy cloud solutions on AWS
ā¢ Automate operations and maintenance activities
ā¢ Review security scan reports and address findings
ā¢ Apply patches, upgrades, and application deployments
ā¢ Monitor application availability and aide in resolving operational issues
Qualifications:
ā¢ Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
ā¢ 6+ years of experience with system administration of RPM-based Linux distributions (Amazon Linux, RHEL, CentOS, etc.)
ā¢ Automation experience with AWS cloud services (VPC, EC2, S3, CloudFormation, etc)
ā¢ Experience with fully automated infrastructure, system, and application deployment with technologies like CloudFormation or Terraform
ā¢ Experience with shell scripting
ā¢ Experience with government and industry security standards (CIS, STIG, or NIST 800-53) and remediating issues identified during security audits
ā¢ Experience with version control and CI/CD pipeline tools
ā¢ Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance
Compensation:
ā¢ $90,000 - $135,000 *depending on years of experience*
ā¢ Health, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401K, Holidays, Sick Leave if required by Law
