As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will be working in a remote setup, collaborating with various teams to build a secure and reusable cloud infrastructure for business applications. Key Responsibilities Work in a DevOps culture and team, responsible for architecting, designing, development, implementation, and ongoing support of new and emerging technology platforms. Implement automation tools and frameworks for automated code deployment (CI/CD). Lead the design, development, and evolution of the cloud infrastructure. Establish and/or adhere to standards and guidelines to ensure a high-quality output. Establish or follow prioritization processes to drive work and have a sense of urgency about getting work done. Consult with stakeholders to determine requirements and solutions that address business challenges and opportunities. Act as a subject matter expert in cloud infrastructure, performing design reviews and consulting with teams to ensure design best practices. Maintain business continuity and disaster recovery processes. Participate in system and acceptance testing to ensure that systems are functionally suitable, technically sound, and well-integrated. Test and implement system upgrades using methods that safeguard system integrity. May perform other work duties as directed by the Representative's Chiefs. Essential and Preferred Qualifications The ideal candidate should have: Knowledge of AWS Framework as a Service Automation tool like Cloud Formation. Knowledge of AWS registry, data sources, security advancements. Knowledge of infrastructure as-code (IAC). Skilled in deployment techniques involving Docker for containerization. Skilled in monitoring tools. Ability to coach and mentor colleagues' learning, including introducing new ideas and technologies. Ability to anticipate business needs and lead a team toward identifying and solving cross-functional issues. In terms of technical tools, the candidate should be familiar with: Common automation tools like Terraform, Git, Nexus, Jenkins, Gradle, Groovy, and YML. Docker, Serverless, ECS, Kubernetes. Python, Bash, Artifactory, Groovy, Maven, MS Build, Nexus, NuGet. Continuous integration tools like Jenkins, TFS, TeamCity, or Bamboo. Configuration management tools like Chef, Puppet, Ansible. Education and Experience The candidate should have: A High School Certificate or GED. A four-year degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field; or equivalent formal training. Intermediate-level insight, enterprise-wide knowledge in Cloud programming or DevOps.
