We are currently seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer-Must have Top Secret Clearance to join our team in Fayetteville, North Carolina (US-NC), United States (US). Responsibilities • Responsible for distributed and managed services, automating the installation, configuration, and maintenance of platform services. • Manage system tuning for reliability and efficiency and guide and manage software releases for new features and support users through consolidation. • Perform the administrative operation of server hardware and software. • Ensure system security and execute practices and procedures. • Troubleshoot system related problems. • Maintain knowledge of operating systems/software analysis and technological developments and applications. • Recommend future direction or projects to management. • Provide expertise and direction in the development or modification of software programs and applications to enhance an operating system. Requirements • Minimum 5 years of experience with IT/Software. • Minimum 3 years of experience with Kubernetes. • Minimum 1 year of experience with DevOps methodologies. • Minimum 1 year of experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi/NSX-T. • US Citizen with Active Top Secret Clearance and ability to obtain TS/SCI. • Must live a commutable distance from the client's site in Fayetteville, NC or Washington, DC. Nice-to-haves • Undergraduate Degree. • Experience in Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud and OpenStack. • Experience with Kubernetes, Chef, Ansible, BOSH, or related automation/orchestration tools. • Experience with a platform as a service product such as Cloud Foundry, Heroku, Elastic Beanstalk, or similar. • Experience working with DNS, NTP, SAML, OAuth 2, Active Directory. • Understanding of systems monitoring, alerting and analytics (Prometheus, New Relic, AppDynamics, Cacti, Graphite, ELK, Nagios, Ganglia, Splunk, Log Insight, Realize Operations, Datadog, etc.). • Background in Windows deployment, automation, and related technologies. • Experience with database (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MSSQL) and messaging middleware technologies (e.g. RabbitMQ). • Participated in or led agile development teams. • Worked with Concourse, Spinnaker, Jenkins, Bamboo, TeamCity or other Continuous Integration tools. • Experience with networking and related technologies (e.g. load balancing / DNS / SSL / firewalls / NAT / SDN). • Experienced in using Git. • Experience in release management. • Experience supporting production systems using Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices. • Competent to work at a high technical level on all phases of systems engineering activities.
