Cloud DevOps Administrator – Azure

Job Description: • Azure Cloud Administration – Manage and optimize Azure resources (compute, storage, networking, identity, monitoring, and governance) • Implement Azure Policies, RBAC, and cost optimization strategies • Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) – Design, build, and maintain Terraform modules and automation pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitLab/GitHub CI/CD) • Automation & Configuration Management – Implement automation with Ansible, Cloud Custodian, and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) • System Reliability & Security – Oversee system performance tuning, vulnerability remediation, and backup/recovery solutions • Cross-Platform Support – Perform advanced troubleshooting and integration tasks across Linux and Windows servers • Solution Design & Delivery – Partner with Cloud Engineers and Architects • Leadership & Mentorship – Provide technical guidance to peers and junior administrators • Documentation & Continuous Improvement – Develop and maintain technical documentation • Agile Delivery – Contribute to Agile ceremonies Requirements: • U.S. Citizenship is required • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 8–12 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 6–10 years of relevant experience • Expert-level hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (compute, networking, storage, governance, identity, and monitoring) • Strong knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, Cloud Custodian, or similar tools • Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, Go, or Bash • Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions) • Solid understanding of system administration concepts (patching, performance monitoring, log review) for Linux and/or Windows • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and performance-tuning skills across cloud and hybrid environments.
