Cloud Architect (need resumes by 1/28)
Seeking a Cloud Architect, local to the US for a fully remote long term contract opportunity.
Target Hourly Rate: $70/hr W2 - $75/hr W2
Work location: The work is expected to be remote, but occasional onsite work could be requested by the manager, work location in St. Paul, MN 55106.
Duration: 1.5 year project with anticipated start date of end of February 2025 to end of February 2026. Project extensions are likely but not guaranteed.
Minimum Qualifications Ā must meet ALL
Ā Minimum of 5 years experience as a Cloud Architect
Ā Excellent verbal and written communication skills and effective customer service skills.
Ā Strong troubleshooting skills
Cloud Design Ā Highly Desired Skills
Ā Experience designing enterprise cloud solutions with Microsoft Azure preferred. Other experience with AWS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure would be sufficient as well.
Ā Strong understanding of cloud shared responsibility and security models
Ā Secure system design and development principles to conform to state and federal guidelines.
Ā Experience architecting complex solutions on public cloud infrastructure.
Ā Cloud Monitoring and Alerting Solutions (Azure Monitor, SCOM, SolarWinds)
Ā Cloud migration planning, design, and process for large enterprise organizations.
Cloud Solution Implementation Ā Highly Desired Skills
Ā Scripting with Python and/or PowerShell.
Ā Experience with Infrastructure Configuration Solutions
Ā Designing and implementing with cloud IaaS and PaaS Services.
Ā Experience with AWS CloudFormation or Azure Resource Manager, Terraform and/or Azure Bicep.
