Parsons is now hiring a Cloud Architect with a passion for innovation and solving mission critical challenges to support our customer. Remote work with Pacific Coast hoursSpecific Responsibilities:

Oversee and deploy cloud-native applications onto Amazon Web Services (AWS); identify requirements, research options, and design solutions for the customer’s Cloud environment.
Implement cloud solutions based on user/client needs, cost, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms.
Develop and maintain a scalable and secure cloud infrastructure.
Collaborate with team to integrate cloud-based solutions and provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
Develop and maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure and processes
Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
Exhibits exemplary troubleshooting ability and can resolve issues related to complex cloud infrastructure and applications across multiple AWS accounts.
Able to quickly understand complex cloud native architecture in AWS with minimal assistance.
Required Education/Experience:

5+ years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; will consider experience in lieu of degree.
5+ years’ experience working in a multi-skilled team environment collaborating on data integration.
Experience in applying and executing Systems Engineering processes and best practices, including architecture design, requirements management, and knowledge management.
AWS Certified.
Advanced knowledge of extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes and SQL query optimization.
Proficiency in programming languages (e.g. Python, Java, Scala)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to convey complex issues in an easy-to-understand manner
Active DoD Secret-level security clearance
Preferred Experience:

Active DoD TS/SCI-level security clearance
Previous experience supporting an INDOPACOM or US Army customer
Experience supporting INDOPACOM intelligence and/or operations
