We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Application Developer to join our team at HCLTech, where you'll play a key role in advancing the technological world through innovation and creativity. As a Cloud Application Developer, you will design, develop, and deploy scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), utilizing your expertise in Confluent Kafka, KSQL, GBQ, ETL, and Cognos.
Job Summary:
Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based applications on GCP, utilizing Confluent Kafka, KSQL, GBQ, ETL, and Cognos
Configure and optimize Confluent Kafka connectors and topics, and debug errors in a timely manner
Implement cloud/hybrid deployments, optimizing and tuning integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic
Ensure security and data protection, and integrate data storage solutions (SQL databases, MongoDB)
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based applications on GCP
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
Design and implement data pipelines using GBQ, ETL, and Cognos
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for security, data protection, and cloud deployments
Requirements:
5+ years of experience with Confluent Kafka or Apache Kafka
5+ years of experience with data integrations and cloud-based deployments
Strong knowledge of Node.js, MongoDB, Kubernetes, Docker, and GitLab
Basic GCP Cloud knowledge, including App Engine, Cloud Run, Google Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, and Firestore
