Overview Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Summer Intern to join our team! The Summer Intern supports the function of their designated department within Navitus, Lumicera or Epiphany. This internship aims to stimulate student pharmacists’ interest in drug research, health outcomes, and pharmacoeconomics through exposure to research, measurement, and applications to evidence-based decision-making. Apply academic knowledge and learn new skills by contributing to various projects Conduct drug literature reviews and provide summaries of pertinent information Research various legal, regulatory, and other topics within functional area and industry Manage, organize, and analyze information databases relative to intern projects Support the mission and conduct themselves in a professional and responsible manner while abiding by all privacy and confidentiality requirements Follow all corporate and departmental policies and procedures Recognize, suggest, and assist with process improvements Display critical thinking and problem-solving competencies commensurate with realistic expectations of an intern Assist with recordkeeping and filing Be available to work 40 hours per week and, if asked, some occasional overtime Other duties as assigned Qualifications What our team expects from you? High school degree or equivalent Currently enrolled in a Doctor of Pharmacy program Must be 18 years or older Experience working in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred Proven adequate mathematical, analytical, and critical thinking skills The intern role is considered a learning opportunity and as such, no specific experience is required. Preference may be given to candidates with work experience or education paths determined desirable by the department each intern supports.
