We're seeking a dedicated and passionate Clinic Veterinarian to join our team at Animal Humane Society in Golden Valley, MN. As a full-time veterinarian, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to shelter and external customer animals, while promoting a culture of compassion, inclusivity, and safety.
Job Purpose: As a skilled and communicative veterinarian, you will provide professional recommendations, medical treatment, and surgical procedures to ensure the health and well-being of animals in our care. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining the highest standards of animal care, while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform physical examinations, surgeries, and provide treatments, adhering to protocols and policies
Maintain accurate records, meeting all requirements of the Practice Act
Investigate diseases, implement isolation procedures, and evaluate animal containment areas to ensure proper health management and disease prevention
Foster an open and inclusive work environment, championing a culture of safety and promoting meaningful volunteer engagement
What We Offer:
Competitive salary: $95,000 - $110,000 per year
