About the position

The Director of Account Management at Evernorth Health Services is responsible for developing and implementing strategies for effective client management. This role involves overseeing account management services, ensuring client satisfaction, and managing relationships to promote service quality and retention. The director will also facilitate communication across departments and lead a team to achieve objectives related to member satisfaction and client retention.

Responsibilities
• Direct and assess the quality, consistency, and satisfaction of services provided within the assigned business division.

• Manage Directors located in one or more sites.
,
• Work collaboratively with the management team to provide career development opportunities, evaluate performance, and provide feedback to promote employee growth and retention.
,
• Assist VP in managing profit, revenue, and gross margin for assigned clients.
,
• Assist VP in developing strategic work plan goals including gross margin, client retention, renewal, and upsell targets.
,
• Oversee the implementation of new accounts, products, policies, and services.
,
• Work with cross-functional areas such as sales, clinical programs, product management, and operations to ensure successful implementations.
,
• Act as a consultant in ongoing client relationships to ensure retention targets are met.
,
• Oversee resolution of client issues.
,
• Participate in sales presentations to potential clients.
,
• Work with sales teams to maximize sales volume, client upsells, and new market opportunities.
,
• Work on special projects and task forces as assigned.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 18 to 22 years of experience.
,
• 12 to 16 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree and 10 to 14 years of relevant experience.
,
• Strong PC skills including experience with Microsoft products and other technology-driven tools.
,
• Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills focused on internal and external clients.
,
• Extensive experience managing client implementations and relationships.
,
• Ability to provide excellent customer service, motivate people and teams, and meet project deadlines.
,
• Ability to travel overnight up to 20%.
