Company:MarshDescription:We are seeking a talented individual to join our Construction team at Marsh Belux. This role will be based in Ghent/Antwerp. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least two days a week in the office.Our client base includes major construction and development companies as well as large industrial groups and property investors in Belgium… who require wholesale capacity for their major construction projects.We will count on you to:Work with clients and colleagues to meet every facet of our clients/projects insurance needs, the task will vary greatly but could include:Pre-binding:Provide technical insurance advice on a wide variety of challenges that face our clients dailyManage budgeting and preparation of underwriting submissionsDevelop program structures and craft policy termsPlace business:Planning broking strategy with clients or network offices and brokers in Belgium and International markets to attain lead terms and/or support to lead termsReview and Issue documentation including agreed wordings, placing slips, endorsements, insurance manuals and minutes of meetingsPlace facility business directly with the market and execute wider portfolio strategyNew Business:Identify new business opportunitiesSecure new business in conjunction with our local offices and wider networksWhat you need to have: Handling/broking experience with Construction Clients or large corporate/public/social profit clientsAttention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlinesExcellent communication skills and confidence to develop strong relationships with senior level client and internal contact pointsTechnical competence in construction insurancesWhat makes you stand out?Knowledge / experience of construction industry and construction contractsA good team working ethosEnthusiasm and ambitionPro-activity, no nonsense attitudeGrowth mindsetEager to contribute to product developmentNative speaker Dutch.
