Client Accounting Specialist, Outsourced Accounting (100% Remote)

While our firm specializes in serving a client base in the Washington, D.C. area, our team lives and works from home offices across the country. We are seeking a dedicated Client Accounting Specialist to join our Outsourced Accounting (OA) department. This position, which reports to the Head of the OA department, is the essential starting point for every client relationship and the bedrock upon which our firm's strategic value is built. You will be the expert who transforms a client's accounting frustrations into the order and reliability they need to grow. You'll do this as part of a close-knit team that values mutual support and shared success. This is a career path for a true specialist. How You'll Make an Impact ● Build Financial Clarity: Create a foundation of trust by meticulously coding client transactions and performing flawless monthly reconciliations. ● Ensure Seamless Compliance: Provide clients with peace of mind by managing all aspects of their payroll and sales & use tax filings with perfect accuracy and timeliness. ● Enable Strategic Insight: Assemble and prepare comprehensive monthly closing packages, delivering the clean, real-time financial data our firm's leaders use to provide strategic counsel. Champion the A4DC Standard: Serve as the first line of defense in upholding our firm's non-negotiable standards of accuracy, professionalism, and absolute discretion. Minimum Qualifications ● An associate’s degree in accounting is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred. ● 2-4 years of hands-on accounting experience, including significant, provable work within QuickBooks Online. ● Must currently reside in and be authorized to work in the United States. ● Must be able to work independently in a quiet, remote workspace. ● Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check.
