Join us in shaping a future where every business owner has the opportunity to thrive.Compensation: Competitive salary paid in USDModality: Hybrid schedule (office in Alajuela near the airport)Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.What you’ll be doing:Lead and grow the Merchant Cash Advance (MCA) operation in Costa Rica, including hiring, coaching, and managing the underwriting and operations teamDevelop, review, and continuously improve MCA processes including underwriting, servicing, collections to optimize speed, quality, and scalabilityEstablish and enforce guidelines and policies aligned with company goals and market dynamicsOversee escalation management, working closely with executive leadership and ISO partners to resolve issues and align expectationsDrive automation initiatives to reduce manual processing, improve data accuracy, and implement tech and AI solutions balancing efficiency and risk controlMonitor competition and market trends (especially in the US MCA market) to recommend strategic adjustments and maintain competitive edgeCollaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Risk, Compliance, and IT teams to ensure smooth end-to-end MCA lifecycleAnalyze performance metrics, underwriting outcomes, and operational KPIs to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunitiesWhat you have:3+ years of experience in MCA Operations or similar financial services lending product5+ years of experience managing or leading operations teams, ideally in a fast-paced financial services environmentStrong understanding of US MCA market dynamics, competitive landscape, and typical deal structuresExperience with guideline development, credit risk evaluation, and operational process design/improvementFamiliarity with underwriting technology platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Ocrolus) and automation tools is highly preferredExceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities and lead through changeAbility to work hands-on in operations queues as needed, maintaining quality control and mentoring staffComfortable managing escalations and collaborating with senior executives and external partners (ISOs)Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)What will make you stand out:Prior success leading MCA Operations teams during rapid growth phasesExperience with process improvement methodologies or project management.Knowledge of compliance, fraud prevention, or credit policy development in MCA or alternative lendingFamiliarity with US bank account validation and credit reporting toolsBilingual skills (English/Spanish) to support diverse applicant base and internal communicationsWhy Work for Clicklease At Clicklease, we believe small businesses are the backbone of the economy—and we’re here to help them grow.
