An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Cleaner to join a leading Machine tool Manufacturer to take care of our facilities and play an important role in providing a clean environment in our offices and communal areas. The role: You will be carrying out a range of cleaning activities to ensure all areas are neat and tidy and achieve the highest standards within our factory, including: Dust/wipe/wash wall surfaces, desks, skirting boards, handrails, ledges, window sills, radiators, doors and frames, interior windows and glass surfaces Sweep/mop/vacuum flooring dependent on surface (carpet, tiles, altro) Clean toilets, urinals, hand basins and sinks in reception and works area Clean communal office kitchen areas and works canteen Empty waste bins and dispose of waste material to designated points Replenish consumable items e.g. soap, toilet rolls, paper towels etc. Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained, and stored correctly Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished Follow cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic environment - Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor To succeed in this role, you will need to: Have good attention to detail Be honest, hardworking and reliable with a flexible approach to work Prioritise tasks and have the ability to use your own initiative Be happy to work independently Have a positive attitude and an approachable, courteous manner Demonstrate good communication skills Experience in a commercial environment is preferred but not essential Salary and benefits: · £12.21 per hour · 12-15 hours per week - flexible and negotiable between our opening hours · 32 days holiday (inc. statutory holidays) pro-rated · Life Insurance Cover · Cycle to work scheme Start date: ASAP - please be available for interview at short notice Job Type: Part-time Pay: £12.21 per hour Benefits: Cycle to work scheme Life insurance On-site parking Transport links Experience: Commercial cleaning: 3 years (required) Language: Work authorisation: United Kingdom (required) Location: Coventry CV3 2TD (preferred) Work Location: In person
