The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and resourceful, comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively, and eager to grow with the role. As our assistant, you will support the CEO by managing critical administrative tasks to streamline operations, enabling him to focus on strategic initiatives.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
Managing email and scheduling appointments to keep the calendar organized and up to date
Posting weekly blog entries and ensuring content is optimized
Updating and improving blog posts for better performance
Scheduling and managing email campaigns
Scheduling social media posts and managing comments/messages
Tracking social media metrics, researching trends, and contributing content ideas
Assisting with outreach and scheduling for podcast appearances
Assisting with proofreading and updating the website and blog
General admin tasks like light research and preparing reports
Performing end-of-day wrap-up of tasks and providing updates
In addition to the above, the ideal candidate must be/have:
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Proactive and resourceful, anticipates needs and solves problems effectively
Friendly and empathetic, warm in communication and caring about helping others
Detail-oriented and organized, ensuring tasks and deadlines are managed seamlessly
Cheerful and positive, bringing enthusiasm and a can-do attitude to challenges
Tech-savvy and adaptable, quickly learning and using tools to improve efficiency
Assertive yet easygoing, speaking up when needed while staying calm and flexible
Self-directed, able to work independently and accomplish goals with minimal supervision
Focused and efficient, prioritizing tasks and avoiding wasted time
Open to feedback and willing to learn from mistakes
Professional, consistently representing the company well
Dependable, consistently follows through and provides updates

Position Details:
This is a remote W2 position
Benefits include PTO, sick time, paid holidays, and medical (Kaiser Permanente Medical available once full-time and only in certain states)
The position starts at 20-25 hours per week, with potential to transition to full-time within 30 days
Part-time hours are Monday-Friday, 8 am-12 pm EST or PST, with hours expanding once full-time
The pay rate is $25/hour USD
You must be able to pass a background check
We're looking for someone to become a long-term (3+ years) team member
