Job Summary:
Ryder operates in the background to offer technology-based services in supply chain management, transportation, and fleet solutions to a wide range of businesses, including up-and-coming retail stores and globally recognized companies.
Requirements
ā¢ Must be at least 21 years old
ā¢ Pass a Ryder drug screening
ā¢ A background check, as well as a motor vehicle screening, are required by Ryder, along with validation of drug and alcohol use from past employers within the last three years
ā¢ Undergo a Department of Transportation physical examination
ā¢ Successfully complete a road test with Ryder
ā¢ Please present the required Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and additional qualifications for the job
ā¢ Demonstrated experience operating a Class A commercial vehicle like a tractor-trailer or similar type of transport is required:
ā¢ In the last three years, a 9-month period of practical involvement
ā¢ Within the past five years, a minimum of two years of experience is required
ā¢ A minimum of half a decade of recent work history over the past decade
ā¢ Demonstrating the capacity to adhere to written or verbal directions
ā¢ Competence in comprehending, analyzing, and implementing laws, regulations, and policies

Responsibilities
ā¢ Guaranteeing adherence to relevant federal and state laws, regulations, and agency directives and standards is paramount
ā¢ Identifying and mitigating safety risks while keeping precise documentation and records
ā¢ Helping with loading or unloading cargo, as needed by the client
ā¢ Executes additional tasks as required
