About the position
Responsibilities
• Shadow and work with adjusters to perform administrative duties including issuing payments and completing administrative tasks.
• Participate in special projects such as continuous improvement strategies.
• Connect with insureds and medical providers to gather information on claims.
• Support Claims professionals with large account management.
• Assist in automating the department's weekly scorecard, keeping track of our Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), helping to track results and report them out to various teams.
• Analyze data used to enhance our customer experience.
Requirements
• Must be a current college student to qualify.
• Demonstrate an interest in learning about the insurance industry.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
Benefits
• Hourly compensation starting at $19.00 per hour.
