About the position Responsibilities • Lead a team of learning professionals in the design, development, and delivery of training programs and curricula. • Conduct training needs analysis in partnership with Claims Leadership to provide proactive learning and development solutions. • Develop a targeted training strategy addressing current and projected training needs of business areas. • Utilize data to identify patterns, summarize results, and recommend actions to address gaps and performance concerns. • Continuously assess and measure training programs for efficiency and engagement. • Ensure L&D team members possess the necessary skills and knowledge to be effective business partners focused on adult learning. • Collaborate with Instructional Technologists to create digital content. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in education, Instructional Design and Technology, Training and Development, Communication, or equivalent practical experience. • 5+ years of experience managing a training team or leading development-focused initiatives. • Solid understanding of learning and development methodologies and adult learning standard practices. • Strong familiarity with training technologies such as Articulate, Captivate, Adobe Creative Cloud, and learning management systems. • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills and public speaking aptitude. • Ability to develop cross-business connections and build collaborative relationships.
