They are seeking a Claims Concierge who will be the first point of contact for customers and brokers, providing exceptional customer service and support throughout the claims process.ResponsibilitiesHandle incoming calls from customers, brokers, vendors and third parties, to provide support and service within the claims processTaking first notice of loss information on new claims and assigning services (rental, etc)Answering questions on existing claimsMake adjusting decisions on claims in the absence of dedicated advisors, exercising the same monetary and decisionāmaking authority as an Associate Advisor, APDAssist in general Auto claims handling when possible/required due to adjuster illness, vacation, etcAssign all brokerāreported and phoneāintake Auto and Personal Property claims to the appropriate adjuster using the skills matrix toolSkillsMinimum 1 year of experience working in a customer service roleExceptional customer service and communication skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programsAble to multi-task and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic work environmentExperience working in Claims would be considered an assetCIP designation or working towards completion would be considered an assetProficient typing skills preferredBenefitsExtended health and dental benefitsDisability insuranceRetirement plan matchingPaid time offRecognition and perk programsCompany OverviewBuilt on a foundation of financial strength for more than 180 years, Gore Mutual is one of Canadaās oldest property and casualty mutual insurers.
