About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Claims Call Center Representative to join our team, working with American Express Card Members who need to file insurance claims. As a Claims Call Center Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for clients, providing prompt and professional service to fulfill their requests. This is a full-time remote opportunity, Monday through Friday, in our 2nd shift starting at 11am - 7pm Central Time.

Key Responsibilities:


Respond to incoming calls from American Express Card Members, providing benefit and coverage information, setting up new claims, and updating existing claims
Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring prompt and professional resolution of client requests
Review and interpret policy coverage and claim status, utilizing analytical skills to make informed decisions
Accurately gather and enter information into our system, maintaining attention to detail and data accuracy
Effectively manage and prioritize tasks, meeting productivity and performance targets
Interact with high-end clientele, providing a superior customer experience and building trust


Requirements and Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:


High School Diploma or equivalent required
1+ year of experience in customer service, preferably in a call center environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to review and interpret policy coverage and claim status
Attention to detail and accuracy in gathering and entering information into our system
Ability to effectively manage and prioritize tasks, meeting productivity and performance targets


Preferred Qualifications:


Previous experience working with insurance claims or a related field
Familiarity with insurance industry terminology and concepts
Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
