The ideal candidate is organized, takes initiative, and provides excellent customer service in daily interaction with staff, employees, clients, and vendors. Why work for H&K Group, Inc.?

ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities
Performs all work according to OSHA, MSHA, PennDOT, and H&K Safety policies
Receive and review new incident reports
File Claims with Insurance Carrier
Generate and Track claim and insurance billing for auto claims
Research / analyze internal records to determine a plan of action for claims
Maintain Health & Safety Plans for contracting jobs
Create and manage Purchase Orders for the Safety Department as needed
Database Management
Compliance Assistance
Check requests
Maintain new hire orientation paperwork as it pertains to the Safety Dept.
Track Costs and Incident Reports for one (or more) partner companies
Other duties as assigned
QualificationsRequired Skills, Education, and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent (such as the GED) from an accredited educational institution OR one year of related experience and/or trainingEquivalent combination of education & experience may be considered

Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel) and mail merge experience
Strong attention to detail
Strong Written and Verbal Communication skills
Listening Skills
Analytical skills
Ability to multitask and organize
Ability to utilize appropriate PPE as needed
Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)
Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience
Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university
Two years of related experience and/or training
OSHA, MSHA or other relevant safety certifications
Physical Demands
Regularly required to sit
Frequently required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms
Regularly required to talk and hear
Occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Close vision abilities
Work Environment
Noise level is usually moderate
Hours may exceed 40 per week as needed
Potential to work remote on occasion (as needed) after 90 days
Frequently works under time constraints
