As a Claims Adjuster Specialist focusing on attorney represented bodily injury claims, you will manage an inventory of claims independently while assessing liability, coverage, and damages. This role involves direct negotiation with attorneys and claimants to settle claims effectively. You will be part of a collaborative team that supports your professional growth in the claims industry.
Responsibilities
Ā Determines coverage and liability

Ā Negotiate with claimants or their attorneys

Ā Settle claims and set reserves

Ā Estimates cost of treatment or compensation for those injured in accidents
,
Ā Analyze and interpret medical reports, follow-up with no-fault parties, and manage claims process to ensure efficient resolution
,
Ā Interview, collect and document information from various people such as claimants, agents/brokers, attorneys, and police
Requirements
Ā Four years of relevant work experience with one year in claims handling
,
Ā One year in claims handling and a bachelor's degree
,
Ā Three years of relevant work experience with one year in claims handling and an associate degree
Nice-to-haves
Ā Auto and/or commercial claims experience
,
Ā Must be able to obtain LA Adjuster's license
