The Role
A hands-on civil engineering position covering the full project lifecycle ā from client engagement and proposal development through final design, permitting, and approval. You'll manage multiple projects simultaneously while coordinating with clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies.
What You'll Be Doing
ā¢ Lead land development projects including site grading, stormwater management, and E&S design
ā¢ Prepare and submit NPDES permit packages, HOPs, and regulatory permit applications
ā¢ Coordinate with Local, State, and Federal agencies and AHJs through approvals
ā¢ Attend client, municipal, and contractor meetings and manage project deliverables end-to-end
ā¢ Perform site due diligence, feasibility assessments, and zoning/ordinance research
ā¢ Prepare technical reports, specifications, and CAD drawings/schematics
ā¢ Manage project budgets, invoicing communication, and progress reporting to management
What We Need
ā¢ Degree in Civil Engineering
ā¢ EIT Required
ā¢ Experience in land development, stormwater management, and environmental permitting
ā¢ Proficiency in CAD software
ā¢ Strong project management and time management skills across multiple concurrent projects
ā¢ Excellent communication skills ā client-facing and regulatory coordination experience a plus
