CI/CD Automation Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to support the development, testing, and deployment lifecycle of our Home Gateway products. This role will be work in designing CI/CD pipelines, managing build infrastructure, automating the deployment of embedded Linux-based firmware across various platforms, and implement automation validation.ResponsibilitiesDesign, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines.Manage build systems for embedded targets using OpenWRT or PrplOS build frameworks.Implement monitoring and logging for build and deployment stability.Collaborate with QA and development teams to support test automation, including integration with tools like Robot Framework, Jenkins, and custom mesh testing frameworks.Maintain and monitor build agents, artifact repositories (Artifactory), and container environments (Docker).Set up virtualization or hardware-based test labs for validating automatically.Support software release management and OTA (Over-The-Air) update processes, including rollback and recovery.Requirements3+ years of experience in DevOps or Build & Release Engineering, preferably in embedded systems or networking products.Strong knowledge of CI/CD via GitHub actions.Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI.Strong knowledge in scripting (Python, Bash, Shell) for automation and tooling.Knowledge in UI based automation, such as Robot Framework, Selenium, or Appium.Understanding of networking protocols & services (TCP/IP, DHCP, TR-069/USP, EasyMesh, IEEE 1905.1)Experience working with embedded hardware, test setup, or remote device management.Company Statement/Values: At NETGEAR, we are on a mission to unleash the full potential of connectivity with intelligent solutions that delight and protect.
