Child Psychiatrist - Outpatient Tele-Psychiatry (Remote, NY License Required)
Location: Remote (Serving New York Patients)
Job Type: Part-Time / Contract
Position Overview
Alina Telehealth is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Child Psychiatrist licensed in New York to provide outpatient telepsychiatry services.
This is a fully remote opportunity offering flexible scheduling, low patient volume, and a meaningful chance to make an impact on children’s and adolescents’ mental health.
Schedule
• Minimum 16 hours per week (flexible)
• Clinic Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM EST
• Can be scheduled across 2 full days (preferred: Tuesdays and Thursdays)
• Monday–Friday availability
Responsibilities
• Conduct outpatient telepsychiatry evaluations and follow-ups for patients aged 5 and above
• Provide diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management
• Document patient encounters in Meditech EMR
• Submit prescriptions electronically through Accumedic
• Handle cases including depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation, ensuring compassionate and evidence-based care
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary behavioral health team as needed
Requirements
• Active and unrestricted New York Medical License
• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
• Experience with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) preferred
• Comfortable with remote EMR systems (Meditech, Accumedic)
• Strong commitment to patient-centered, ethical psychiatric care
