The Lab employs innovative technology to tackle real-world challenges in economics and public policy. Role Description This is a remote role for a Chief Research Scientist. The Chief Research Scientist will lead research initiatives focused on developing, implementing, and analyzing multi-agent simulations. Responsibilities will include designing and refining simulation models, conducting data-driven research, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. The role also involves reporting on insights to inform economic and policy-related decision-making. Effective communication of research findings to stakeholders will be a key aspect of this role. Qualifications • Proficiency in simulation modeling, computational modeling, and data analysis • Strong expertise in research methods, data collection, and statistical analysis • Background in economic and policy research or related fields • Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or similar tools • Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and critical reasoning skills • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences • Experience working collaboratively in research or interdisciplinary teams • Bachelors, Master’s, or PhD in Economics, Public Policy, Computer Science, or a related field preferred Apply tot his job
