Chief Operations Officer/CEO

We are seeking an experienced General Manager with a strong background in leading software agencies or IT outsourcing companies. The ideal candidate will have past leadership experience and a proven track record in operational management as well as growing with acquisitions, integrating, and growing acquired businesses. This role is pivotal in transforming and innovating business models to leverage remote work platforms, with a focus on disrupting the traditional IT outsourcing market using remote software engineers. • Translate strategy into actionable steps for growth, implementing organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operations planning • Oversee company operations and employee productivity, building a highly inclusive culture that ensures team members can thrive and that organizational goals are met • Focus on things like: Daily meetings, KPIs, measure, Actions, Agreements, Control, PowerBI data, Manage • Efficiently integrate acquired companies into our existing business model, ensuring smooth transitions and maintaining cultural integrity. Strategically grow the acquired business from $10 million to $50 million, identifying new opportunities and optimizing current operations • Revamp traditional business models to create a disruptive force in the IT outsourcing market, focusing on remote software engineering solutions • Build, mentor, and lead teams to achieve exceptional performance and growth • Conduct in-depth market research to understand trends and create effective strategies for market penetration and expansion • Oversee financial aspects, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to maximize profitability and efficiency • Engage with stakeholders, including investors, board members, and key clients, to align business objectives and strategies. • Build and maintain trusting relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders • Minimum of 10 years in senior management roles • Working closer with the CEO in software agencies or IT outsourcing businesses is preferred. • Bachelor’s degree in STEM or a related field; an MBA is preferred • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, financial acumen, and an innovative mindset • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Extensive knowledge of the software and IT outsourcing industry, especially in remote work dynamics • Demonstrated a history of growing businesses and leading successful integrations. • Be part of a great place to work.
