Learn how our zero-trust and zero-knowledge solutions defend against cyber threats at KeeperSecurity.com.About the JobThis role will act as a force multiplier for the CTO, helping to orchestrate key priorities, accelerate decision-making, and enhance operational execution across engineering, infrastructure, security, architecture, and product delivery teams.The Chief of Staff will work closely with the CTO—based in our El Dorado Hills office—and will collaborate with leadership across global teams, including our Chicago-based headquarters and other international offices.ResponsibilitiesStrategic Execution: Partner with the CTO to drive strategic initiatives, track progress on OKRs, and ensure alignment across the technical leadership teamOperations Enablement: Lead and optimize CTO office operations, including meeting cadences, decision workflows, follow-ups, and documentation to ensure the org runs smoothlyData & Reporting: Consolidate and synthesize engineering, product, and security metrics into concise dashboards and briefings for executive-level consumptionCross-functional Leadership: Act as a liaison between the CTO’s organization and other internal departments (e.g., Product, Security, Customer Success, People) to align initiatives and resolve blockersExecutive Communication: Draft technical updates, board prep materials, and strategic briefs on behalf of the CTOProgram Oversight: Support or lead special programs such as architecture modernization, incident response reviews, innovation cycles, or technical offsitesProcess Improvement: Identify and execute opportunities to improve team processes, including org design, hiring coordination, and scaling ritualsPeople Development: Support team growth and culture efforts by partnering with Engineering and People teams on hiring, onboarding, DEI, and recognition initiativesRequirements5+ years in strategic or operational roles in a technology-driven company, ideally with experience working alongside a CTO, VP Engineering, or similar executiveBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related fieldDemonstrated understanding of software engineering processes and product development life cyclesExperience with metrics and tools used in agile development and technical program managementExceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate between business and technical audiencesProven ability to build trusted relationships across functions and levels of seniorityHigh emotional intelligence, strong judgment, and discretion handling sensitive initiativesWillingness to operate in a hybrid work environment, with regular collaboration from both the Chicago and El Dorado Hills offices, and international travel as needed (up to 25%)Preferred Qualifications Experience in cybersecurity, SaaS, or highly regulated industriesExposure to scaling teams across geographies and time zonesExperience supporting executive communication and board-level reportingBenefitsMedical, Dental & Vision (inclusive of domestic partnerships)Employer Paid Life Insurance & Employee/Spouse/Child Supplemental LifeVoluntary Short/Long Term Disability Insurance401K (Roth/Traditional)A generous PTO plan that celebrates your commitment and seniority (including paid Bereavement/Jury Duty, etc.)Above-market annual bonusesKeeper Security, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and participant in the U.S. Federal E-Verify program.
