About the position Responsibilities • Oversee and manage the dosimetry team operations systemwide. • Perform and delegate patient-specific medical dosimetry tasks. • Ensure adequate dosimetry coverage across all sites. • Supervise, guide, and credential dosimetrists on existing and new procedures. • Keep the dosimetry team informed of departmental policy changes. • Guide the integration of artificial intelligence and remote dosimetry into clinical workflows. • Collaborate with departmental leadership on process improvement initiatives. • Participate in the department's quality improvement committee. • Assist in training dosimetry students, physician residents, physics residents, and radiotherapy students. Requirements • Strong understanding of patient setup and simulation concepts. • Experience in contouring, image fusions, and treatment planning. • Knowledge of data transfer between treatment planning systems and OIS. • Positive attitude and strong work ethic. • Problem-solving mentality and desire for efficiency and safety. • Ability to work well in teams. Nice-to-haves • Experience with artificial intelligence in dosimetry. • Familiarity with remote dosimetry technologies.
