Chief Moderator - Engineering (Remote, Flexible Worker Contract)
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chief Moderator to join our External Quality Assurance team on a flexible worker contract. As a Chief Moderator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and consistency of assessments for the Level 1/2 Technical Award in Engineering. This is a remote, flexible worker contract opportunity with a competitive salary and immediate start date.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruit, train, and performance manage Moderators across the relevant sector area
Ensure quality assurance and moderation are delivered in line with qualification and customer requirements
Maintain compliance with all regulatory conditions relating to moderation of centre assessments
Coordinate the day-to-day activities of the moderation team throughout the moderation window (28 May 2025 - 30 June 2025)
Requirements:
Minimum of a level 3 qualification in Engineering or a related subject area
Evidence of working within the sector
Experience in assessment and internal quality assurance
Knowledge and experience of managing moderation processes
Excellent report writing skills
