Chesapeake Climate Control is seeking a skilled and detail-driven HVAC Estimator to support both our residential and commercial divisions. Requirements
What You BringWe’re looking for someone who can operate confidently across both residential and commercial environments:2–5+ years of HVAC estimating experience (residential, commercial, or both)Strong understanding of HVAC systems, equipment, and installation methodsExperience with estimating tools (FastEST, Bluebeam, Trimble, AutoCAD, or similar)Ability to read and interpret both residential plans and commercial construction documentsExperience working with vendors, subcontractors, and pricing negotiationsKnowledge of load calculations, system sizing, and equipment selection (preferred)Strong communication and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneouslyWhat Sets You ApartExperience estimating both residential and commercial projectsFamiliarity with new construction, retrofits, and service replacementsUnderstanding of permitting requirements in DE/MD (or similar regions)Exposure to design-build or fast-paced construction environmentsWho You AreDetail-oriented and accuracy-driven—you don’t miss numbersAnalytical thinker who can balance cost, quality, and timelinesA proactive communicator who works well with both office and field teamsComfortable working independently while contributing to a collaborative teamMotivated to grow with a company that’s scaling its operations
