Role Description: Chairperson of the Board
This is a full-time, remote leadership position. The Chairperson will serve as the lead governance figure for Sphinx Digital Marketing Agency, guiding strategic vision, ensuring board effectiveness, and maintaining the company’s ethical and fiduciary integrity.
Core responsibilities include:
• Setting board agendas and chairing meetings
• Aligning board oversight with corporate mission and long-term goals
• Facilitating clear, constructive communication between the board and executive leadership
• Mentoring board members and supporting board recruitment
• Representing the agency to investors, regulators, and external partners
• Upholding regulatory compliance, ethical governance, and strategic continuity across all business lines
Qualifications
• Proven leadership in a board, C-suite, or strategic advisory role
• Expertise in governance, organizational development, and cross-functional leadership
• Strong strategic planning and facilitation skills
• Understanding of digital marketing trends, metrics, and regulatory considerations
• Experience working in or advising early-stage companies or digital agencies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or JD preferred
