Certified Public Accountant and Tax Preparation

This position will support a group of three commonly owned businesses. The companies have never laid off an employee in 18 years and offer a very stable work life that is both fast paced and interesting every day.
Each business uses QuickBooks Online as the accounting platform so you must be an expert with QBO. This position will be responsible for bookkeeping and accounting functions, including corporate tax filings. There are 3 other staff members that assist in parts of the accounting process that you will work with closely. This position will work directly with the owner of the businesses on a daily basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1) Strong QuickBooks Online and Excel abilities and knowledge
2) Reconcile accounts regularly
5) Prepare and submit quarterly sales tax, use tax, and franchise tax reports.
6) Maintain/prepare balance sheets, P&L statements, and sales/revenue reports
7) Corporate tax return preparation and filing.
The position is fast paced and involves working with a great team of about 60 people. Communication skills are important, as you'll be on video calls with your team, managers, and the owner daily.
Everyone in the organization is easy and fun to work with. We truly have a "no-jerks" policy and the owner takes this very seriously. Most video calls start with catching up and laughter before getting down to business, which makes you feel like you're working with friends and makes it fun and interesting to come to work.
BEING AN EXPERT WITH QUICKBOOKS ONLINE IS ESSENTIAL.
CPA Experience and license required. Corporate 1120 experience required.
