What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
- Monitor and record residents' vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rate
- Provide mobility assistance to residents, ensuring safety and comfort during movement
- Observe and document residents' health status, reporting any changes or concerns to nursing staff
- Offer emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive environment
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Current CNA certification in the state of Washington
- Previous experience in a similar role within long-term care, assisted living, or adult family home settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, patient-centered approach
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and assisting residents as needed
- Willingness to collaborate effectively within a team
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in a long-term care or assisted living environment
- Additional certifications in specialized care or support services
