What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide direct, basic patient care activities under the guidance and direction of a Registered Nurse
- Care for and clean specific equipment, ensuring proper sanitation and functionality
- Stock supplies and equipment as needed to maintain operational readiness
- Transport patients, supplies, and equipment within the healthcare facility
- Assist in maintaining a safe and clean environment for both patients and staff
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma required
- CNA/NJ certification/registration required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital setting
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare staff
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Additional certifications in specialized areas of patient care
- Experience with advanced medical technology or equipment
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities to assist diverse patient populations
- Previous experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
