Certified Lead Teacher - Remote | WFH
As a Lead Teacher, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the educational experience of our students. You will coordinate assessments, teach middle and senior high school classes, support fellow instructors, develop and maintain educational plans, and manage related administrative tasks to ensure the highest standards of education are met.
Key Responsibilities...
Collaborate with program managers to uphold educational quality and ensure compliance with state, local, and contractual requirements.
Conduct educational assessments for each student as per state and local guidelines.
Set and monitor educational goals for each student, tracking their progress throughout their enrollment.
Ensure that the curriculum is fully implemented and meets all educational standards.
Oversee the delivery of special education services and ensure they are properly documented.
Review and provide feedback on lesson plans to ensure they align with local School District requirements.
Assist other instructors with lesson planning, curriculum development, and teaching strategies.
Teach assigned classes, providing a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
Maintain accurate documentation for middle and high school courses.
Supervise and mentor students during class, offering guidance, support, and positive role modeling.
Write reports and perform home visits as needed, according to program standards.
Attend training and professional development events to maintain certifications and licenses.
Supervise and coordinate special activities, including recreational sports and facility maintenance.
Ensure that crisis intervention, physical restraint, CPR, and First Aid certifications are up to date.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
State Teacher Certification in core subject areas.
At least two years of experience working with youth.
