Certified Flaggers
Currently hiring for certified flaggers to assist with traffic control duties on a large commercial project site in Sandston, VA. As a certified flagger your primary responsibility will be directing vehicles exiting/entering the parking lots to ensure a smooth and safe flow of traffic as they enter or leave the premises. Pay is $18 - $20 an hour based on skill set and experience.
Certified Flagger Responsibilities:
ā¢ Direct vehicles safely and efficiently as they exit the parking lot, ensuring proper traffic flow
ā¢ Use standardized hand signals and signage to communicate with drivers
ā¢ Ensure all vehicles are following direction and maintaining safety protocols.
ā¢ Monitor traffic conditions and adjust directing as needed
ā¢ Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
ā¢ Maintain a professional and courteous attitude with all drivers and team members
ā¢ Assist with other traffic control duties as assigned
Construction Laborer Qualifications:
ā¢ Authorized to work in the US
ā¢ Valid and current Flagger certification
ā¢ 2+ years experience in traffic control/flagging
ā¢ Able to remain alert and attentive for extended periods of time
ā¢ Reliable and on time
ā¢ Your own transportation
